I'm a writer and a host. Most of the time those skills mingle over food, whether it's writing novels, creating cook books, developing recipes, acting as a spokesperson, hosting cooking classes or steering events.
I tell stories about food, family and people. Sometimes they're novels, like my upcoming debut 'Grace Under Pressure' with Simon and Schuster (due March 2021), and sometimes they're cookbooks and travel stories.
My work has been featured in The Sunday Times, Telegraph, Sydney Morning Herald, Delicious UK, Stylist, Grazia, Fox News, Metro, RED, Psychologies, ABC, Mamamia.com.au, The Glow, The Huffington Post, The Independent, The Guardian, Mother and Child and Women and Home.
I have 17 years experience in communications, content production and strategy, including a MA in Strategic Communication Management (UTS). I count Harris Farm Markets, Borough Markets, Jack Daniels and Worklife South Coast among my copywriting clients.
My food philosphy is simple. I believe a healthy life doesn't have to be a spartan one. I believe we all deserve to know what great food is and how easy it can be to prepare it for yourself and those you care about.
I believe we could all probably do with eating a few less things that are white.
I was born in Sydney, where I'm currently based with my husband and two children; Will and Evie - but I will always consider London my second home.
I believe most days are improved with a walk by the beach, good coffee, a languid lunch shared with family and friends - and a glass of pink wine.
